In the first part, we see the lovely, blonde Ivy Jones as she walks into the morgue and imagines what it would be like to be the dead body on the slab, instead of just the technician. She’s always been a little different, and we can see that right away, as we watch her climb up and lie on the stainless steel table, usually reserved for the cold and the lifeless. A man enters, a fellow forensic technician, shocking her out of her revelry, and she nervously tries to explain what she was doing, begging the man not to tell their superiors. The man is strangely understanding, supportive of her fantasies even. So much so, that he would like to make them come true. Clamping his hands around her slender throat, he strangles her right on the morgue examining table. She tries to fight him, but he is too strong, and she soon succumbs to the attack, her brief time of playing dead quickly becoming a reality.
