He leads them back into the main room, clearly troubled by what has happened. He must make an example out of his follower and strangles her to death in front of the scared, kidnapped girl. She struggles intensely, but he is strong with rage and after a bit, she is dead. He shoves her body aside and concentrates on the girl---his payday. He works it out....does he "really need" her alive to get the other half of the money now that he has gained the fathers trust. He didn't think so. But the girl is pleading with him, seemingly ready to offer up her body in exchange for her life. Curious, he has her strip, admiring her assets. She stands and removes the rest of her clothes and then he has her turn away from him. She does as she is told, hoping he will take her and be satisfied enough to let her go. He does not. Instead, he quickly wraps a garrote around her neck, and they fall back.
